this website is hosted by vercel inc., 440 n barranca avenue #4133, covina, ca 91723, usa. when you visit a page, vercel processes technical data needed to deliver it, such as your ip address, the requested page, date and time, browser and operating system. this is necessary to serve the website securely and reliably, which is my legitimate interest (art. 6 (1) (f) gdpr).
vercel is certified under the eu-u.s. data privacy framework, which the european commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection for transfers to the usa (art. 45 gdpr). i have a data processing agreement with vercel. more in vercel’s privacy policy.
analytics
to see which pages are read, i use seline, a privacy-friendly analytics service by seline analytics, ul. łowicka 60/16, 02-531 warsaw, poland. seline sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. to count unique visits, it combines your ip address and browser details with a salt that changes every 24 hours into a one-way hash. your ip address is never stored, and the hash cannot be traced back to you. data is processed on servers in the european union.
the legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how this website is used (art. 6 (1) (f) gdpr). more in seline’s privacy policy.
contact by email
if you email me, i process your address and message only to reply to you (art. 6 (1) (f) gdpr, or art. 6 (1) (b) gdpr if it concerns a contract). i delete it once the conversation is finished, unless i’m legally required to keep it.

this website links to other sites, such as youtube, x and cosmos. nothing is loaded from them until you click a link. from then on, their privacy policies apply.
your rights
you have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 15–21 gdpr). just email me. you can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the berlin commissioner for data protection and freedom of information (art. 77 gdpr).
